Las Vegas is one of those iconic places many people will have on their bucket list. If someone has never visited, they want to go. And if they have been there before, they naturally want to go again. You could say that the reason for this is because there is so much to see and do. And, if we’re honest, you may need to take a couple of trips to make sure you don’t miss out on everything that Sin City has to offer.
Las Vegas is the gambling mecca. If you love casinos and gaming, this is the place to be, with many heading to Sin City on a sort of pilgrimage. The likes of the Bellagio, Venetian, Caesars Palace and Mandalay Bay feature in what is a stellar offering of land-based casino venues. And, it’s fair to say that these places are keeping up with the times by partnering with internet operators who all offer a fantastic selection of online casino games. So, it’s never a case of the fun having to stop when you leave, as you can continue playing online.
We could have included hotels in the casino part because many are hotel resorts, with casinos inside or onsite. However, the hotels are that good; they deserve a paragraph of their own. What makes hotel resorts such as the Venetian, Caesars and the Palazzo so good is that it’s more than just luxurious rooms with everything and more. In terms of the décor throughout the buildings, the attention to detail is top-notch. And visitors will have peace of mind knowing that everything is all in the one place, be it casinos, dining, etc.
Again, there has to be a mention of what has gone before in terms of casinos and hotels. Because inside many hotel and casino resorts, you will find some of the best dining opportunities that Las Vegas has to offer. However, we will also say that dining in Vegas is really special, not only because it’s of the highest quality, with places such as Bardot Brasserie, Other Mama, Twists and Gordon Ramsay Steak being evidence of this. But, because such a diverse range of people visit the area, there is also a real mix of the types of cuisine on offer.
For some, Vegas may be all about casinos and gambling. But for others, there’s another key attraction: the live shows that are hosted regularly. For example, many people actually flock to Vegas to catch the latest from Cirque Du Soleil. But, of course, it’s always best to head to Sin City with an open mind because then you’re not going to miss out on some great entertainment. So if you head to Vegas for casinos, make sure to stop by and watch a live show; they’re designed to suit all tastes.
You may have heard of musicians having residencies in Vegas over the years. And what’s immediately noticeable is that these aren’t some run of the mill artists; they’re legends within the industry. The likes of Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Barry Manilow, Rod Stewart and Usher need no introduction. So, it’s not like you go to Vegas and listen and watch generic music from any old artist. Instead, you’re seeing iconic musicians doing their thing and playing their hits. It’s just another part of Las Vegas that you can’t afford to miss.
