Becker Vineyards is a winery located in the heart of Texas Hill Country, between Stonewall and Fredericksburg. It is well-known for its authentic and award-winning wines. The estate was established in the year 1992 by Dr. Richard and Bunny Becker.

The Texas Hill Country stretches to an amazing 25 acres in the front of the winery and another 25 acres in the back where different varieties of grapes are grown, including Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot.

The architecture of the winery has captured the hearts of many. The winery is housed in a 10,000-square-foot building which is a reproduction of a 19th-century German stone barn, and the Becker family desires to retain the beautiful architecture and vintage aesthetics of the building to this day.

The 1890s homestead log cabin was located just adjacent to the winery, next to a windmill and water tank. After its renovation in 1997, it was used as a Bed and Breakfast for many years although it has now been discontinued.

It has made a name for itself in the Texas wine industry for being one of the largest producers of wine in the state producing about 177,000 cases of wine a year. It has also earned a title for being the largest purchaser of American white oak and French oak barrels.

If you’ve been assuming that they only make wine and sell it, then you might want to dig a little deeper, because they also offer various activities and hold events throughout the year. That’s right! So continue reading to know what you can expect on your visit.
