To begin with, Dirt Candy is a vegetarian restaurant that offers only vegetarian cuisine. The name of the restaurant states that the vegetables are candies from the dirt. Therefore, they named it “Dirt Candy”. But what does that even mean? They say that veggies are made through nature.

Though New York City has hundreds of seafood restaurants, steak restaurants, and even multi-cuisine restaurants (Canadian cuisine, northeast American cuisine, and so on), Dirt Candy is the only vegetarian restaurant that exists in the Lower East Side, New York. How to make vegetables delicious? That was the target of this restaurant. People in the Lower East Side prefer meat over veggies, but in this case, the Dirt Candy restaurant pulls all of them to their side by offering new innovative and also yummy dishes just using vegetables.

Now let’s discuss their ambiance; they carry the finest with minimal lighting all over the restaurant. Dirt Candy gives a big thumbs up to those who wish to have a “No Meat Day.”

1.5. Saigon Social

Saigon Social, a new Vietnamese restaurant on the Lower East Side, New York. Banh Beo is their signature dish. New Yorkers come here just to taste Banh Beo with fresh and powdered shrimp. Saigon Social made fans with their Savoury oxtail fried rice and butter garlic noodles with shrimp.

Correspondingly, they have both indoor and outdoor seating with a pleasant atmosphere of the Lower East Side, New York. Perhaps most importantly, Saigon Social has the best version of Cha Cha La Vong (Vietnamese dish), which pleases everyone with its taste.

In all aspects, they have the best-known and beloved dishes in their restaurant. Saigon Social’s big, thick burger will likely convince you to do its best. Although it’s draped in carrot and daikon pickled in sugar and salt and a handful of coriander and spring onions, you can still taste its best quality meat.

1.6. Cervo’s Restaurant 

It is a tiny and mighty popular restaurant, with its golden, vibrant color booths, mosaic tiles, and shiny wood paneling. Cervo’s become New Yorkers’ dining destination with a feast of amazing options like Canadian cuisine, Mexican cuisine, and northeastern American cuisine. It is known for its long-standing tradition of food like New York-style pizza, Pastrami and corned Beef sandwiches, and Hot Dog.

If you’re planning for a romantic date, then outdoor seating will be more romantic and an intimate date spot too. It is an authentic Portuguese and Spain-inspired restaurant that offers seafood paella with pork and chicken, Spanish pasta with chorizo and tomatoes, and Portuguese chicken burger.

Mozzarella cheese is specially made with buffalo milk and a special tomato originating from San Marzano, which is also called San Marzano Tomato.
