Step 1: Tap on the ‘Apps’ icon present on the right bottom corner of the home screen of your device. A new screen appears which has list of all the apps installed in your device (app drawer).
Step 2: Tap on the ‘blue globe shaped’ icon named ‘Browser’ or ‘Internet’ from the menu that appears. This will open the default android browser.
Step 3: Tap on the menu button of the device present on the left bottom corner. A new menu pops up. Tap on the option ‘Settings’ which will open the settings window.
Step 4: Tap on the option ‘Privacy’ present on the screen. A new screen appears named ‘Privacy’ which has options like ‘Search and URL suggestions’, ‘Preload available links before opening’, ‘Remember form data’, ‘Remember passwords’ and ‘Delete personal data’.
Step 5: Tap on the option ‘Delete personal data’. On doing so, a new menu pops up which has different options like ‘Select All’, ‘Browsing History’, ‘Cache’, ‘Cookies and site data’, ‘Passwords’, ‘Auto-fill data’ and ‘Location access’.
Step 6: Select the option ‘Browsing history’, ‘Cache’ and ‘Cookies and site data’ by tapping on it. A green tick adjacent to options shows it has been selected.
Step 7: Tap on ‘Done’ option finally present at the right bottom corner of popup menu to clear the cache, cookies and history.
