The major attraction of the TV series and books are the battle scenes and actions, accompanied by a fantastic storyline. Game of Thrones was one of the biggest shows that changed the concept of what was possible to show on television.

Now, the GoT is back in the form of House of Dragons to satisfy your bloodbath cravings, where you can witness the events during the civil war, more commonly known as the Dance of Dragons.

Arthur Dayne, Barristan Selmy, Jaime Lannister, and Oberyn Martell are some great warriors we have watched in the game of thrones. But in this article, you will find the top 5 best warriors from this show to get you pumped for witnessing the new dynasty wars.

Jon Snow

Is there anything that Jon Snow can’t do? The king of North, the bastard of Ned Stark, the true Heir to the Iron Throne, and a part of the Targaryen family tree, he is one of the most likable and honest warriors we had the joy of meeting.

After arriving at the Wall, The Winterfell training made Jon a capable and smart warrior, and he quickly proved himself to be one of the Night’s Watch’s most useful swordsmen.

There are many battles where Jon showcases his fighting spirit. But the best one was with the Night King’s most frightening lieutenants in one of the season five episodes.

The Mountain, aka Gregor Clegane

He is Tywin Lannister’s mad dog, a bad-killing machine, and one of the most fearsome characters in the entire series.

You have probably heard of the term “gentle giant. Well, it definitely doesn’t apply to the Mountain since ending lives is one of his favorite activities. He kills someone in basically every other scene.

Since he is an efficient and skillful sword fighter, Tywin and Cersei always liked to keep him around.

The Hound, aka Sandor Clegane

He is a strong, ruthless killer and a perfect mix of skill and raw power. Whether it’s sword or fist fighting—he is up for anything. Now, you might be thinking, Brienne beat him in season 4. Oh, yes, you are right.

But bear in mind that he had suffered an injury that slowed and weakened him from the beginning. However, his more prominent weakness was his fear of fire, which he tried to overcome later in the series, with the only mission of killing his brother, the Mountain, in mind.

What is Bronn’s favorite activity? Killing, obviously. Among the seven kingdoms, there are a lot of great warriors who are highborn. But being highborn is not the only way to become a great warrior. You can ask Bronn.

He is one of the best fighters in Westeros whose life was self-made. Most importantly, he managed to find ways to make money with the sword. Unlike most warriors we meet throughout the series, Bronn did not view war as a path to glory but as a means to survive.

Grey Worm

Grey Worm was trained for only two things – war and obedience. He is a natural-born killer who is a perfect example of how effective and skilled a soldier can be.

Every strike he took had a purpose, and it showed clearly when he, Jorah, and Daario attacked Yunkai. He led the attack against the Harpy Sons. And despite getting injured, he managed to eliminate many of their soldiers.

After all the anticipation over the past few years, we can finally watch the Game of Thrones prequel series House of Dragons. It’s a fictional story set roughly 200 years before the events we witnessed in the Game of Thrones, based on George R. R. Martin’s book Fire & Blood.

Considering the context, we can expect that The House of Dragon will cover the great Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of Dragons. So, prepare to witness the GoT-style battle, actions, and power games you have never seen before.
