What to Expect at the Fleet Science Center in San Diego?

Be part of the Fleet Science Center in San Diego, an interactive science center open on Mondays to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Visit this science center to cherish your love for science. Leave your books at home and attend this unique workshop in San Diego.

Multiple date options are available for selection. Choose the date and time according to your convenience and get to learn various intriguing scientific stuff at this center. 

Adults or children, this event is open to everyone. Get to release your scientific self at this science center and perform several cool experiments, where you can also explore up to sixteen scientific stations.

1. About the Fleet Science Center

If you love science or want to plant the seed of science in your child’s heart, this event is the answer to all your needs. From new science experiments to exciting documentary film screenings on an IMAX screen, this event has a lot more to offer you. 

You will also get to be a part of some amazing interactive experiments, assisted by a professional guide.

Various science stations will be set up in the Fleet Science Center. The purpose of each station will be different. So do not forget to check as many stations as you can. 

You will also have multiple scientific experiment options where you can try your hands at the Whisper Dishes and parabolic dishes that bounce the sound across the room.

You can also check out the Tornado where you will get to see a funnel cloud formation and you also get to touch the storm. 

The best part is yet to come. There is also a Studio X where you will provided with a space and environment to create and model your design. Put your skills to work and make any equipment that you want. 

Last but not least, you can also watch a fun and innovative documentary on an IMAX screen at the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater.

This center is open seven days a week. You can visit whenever you want to.  

The timings of the center are 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

There is no age restriction for visiting this center. And there is free entry for children below the age of three years. 

The venue is also wheelchair accessible. The location of the center is Fleet Science Center, San Diego. 

3. About the Tickets

You get two options of tickets available on the Fever website for the science center.

  • The first one is the ticket for children between the age of 3-12 years and this ticket will cost you $19.90. 
  • The second ticket type is for adults between the age of 13-64 years. The price of this ticket is $24.90. 

It is important to note that the tickets for this center are non-refundable and can not be changed at a later date.
