Following the theme set by the Met Gala honoring Karl Lagerfeld, the former creative director of Chanel, Lopez was dressed in a pink-and-black, the color theme for the evening.

JLo wore a black gown with a cutout midsection and an abs-baring halter neck with intricate rosette details. Accompanying it was a cute blush-colored skirt made of satin.
Her neckline extended into two long blacktails and her skirt features a long pink train giving her a very feminine and regal aura.
JLo topped off this look with some classic semi-gothic fashion elements like a slicked-back bun and a hat made up of Onyx mesh which was frayed at the ends, again honoring the Karl Lagerfeld theme.
This hat gave a beautiful illusion of a smokey cloud to Jennifer Lopez’s look. She also wore black velvet gloves which made the look even more regal.
For makeup Lopez chose a black cat eye with subtle pink lips, which complimented her look perfectly. Lopez also chose a lovely manicure to go with her dress.
