Hawaii National Park is famous for its volcanic land and sea views. These 5 national parks are Haleakala National Park, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (Hawaii Volcano), Kalaupapa National Historical Park, Honaunau National Historic Park, and Pearl Harbor Memorial, the National Park in Hawaii.

1. National Parks in Hawaii: Haleakalā National Park

Haleakala National Park is located on the island. It is an extended 10,023-foot summit of Haleakala National Park. This park is famous for its native ecosystem. This place is a rare and sacred landscape on Hawaii Island. This place awards a deadly combination of vacation and fun. There are facilities for hiking and camping at this place. This place is a volcano landscape, and it is located on the island of Maui. This place was located as a national park, probably in 1976. This park is on Hawaii’s Island of Maui.

Haleakala National Park preserves the volcano landscape and protects the unique, fragile ecosystem of Kipahulu Valley, the scenic pools, and any rare and endangered species. Storied landscapes are preserved here. Haleakala was originally part of Hawaii National Park, but in 1961 it was redesigned as a separate part of Hawaii Island National Park. This time the park is known for its ecosystem. 

Haleakala is called the “house of the sun ” by the native Hawaiian. This park is extended an area of 30,183 acres covered by plants and animals. The place houses the world’s largest dormant volcano. Maui is another famous place in Haleakala National Park. Maui is above sea level approx, 10,023 feet. There is one national historic trail named Ala Kathakali. Ala khaki means ‘shoreline’ in the Hawaii language.

In ancient times, travelers used this trail to cover the island and the sea. The trail was established on 14 November 2000 as a national historic trail, managed by the National Park Service and the Hawaii National. This is a historic site in this trial. Also, this trial maintains by the fund of water and land. The national park is a 175-mile, 282 km location in Hawaii.

Hawaii National Park also houses Kaliko Honokohau, a park famous for the two different fish ponds. The park has two sweet water ponds surrounded by palm trees, sea turtles, and native birds. The Hawaiian nationals say that the ancient Hawaiian people used these ponds and defined the ancient Hawaiian culture and how they survived in the arid environment. This is a historic place on Hawaii Island.

The park has a very hot and arid environment. There are mostly two active volcanoes, namely Mauna Loa and Kilauea. These are the world’s largest volcanoes. The national park depicted an area of 1395.40 km. The park climbs from sea level to more than 13000 feet, encompassing two volcanoes. This park can be visited anytime. A visitor center is present to ease the witness of the strong, active lava spray coming out from the volcano.  

On 2018 May 11, the park was closed for the Kilauea volcano explosion. In early 2022, the park was reopened. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is an active volcano area along the southeastern area of Hawaii Island. Hawaii Mauna volcano

Mauna Volcano is located in the south-central part of Hawaii Island. It is the world’s biggest volcano; it extends about 3 miles, approx 5 km. It rests at an elevation of 13,477 feet above the sea surface. 

In 1881 the volcano’s lava flew out, covering half of the island, and also, the volcano entered the northwestern side and outlined the town named Hilo.  In 1950, the lava flowed out, and its flank in the southeastern rift zone reached the sea surface within less than 3 hours. It is a risky area; however, the place is thronged by visitors. It has erupted many times, but the most recent eruption is in 2022. The Mauna Loa volcano is famous, and Hawaii nationals preserve the place.

Kilauea volcano

Kilauea volcano is located on the east side of the Mauna Loa volcano. It is the most famous volcano and also Hawaii’s youngest volcano. This volcano covers the one-seventh area of Hawaii Island. This volcano extends approximately 25 miles (40 km.) Apart from this cover, the southeastern part rises about 40,90 feet (1250 meters), approximately above sea level. It is also a shield volcano summit caldera the same size as Mauna Loa.

This eruption also came out early 21st century, when 500 acres and 200 Hector new land were added to Hawaii’s southern shore. This thing highlights the other area of the national park. The Volcanoes are active even now as well. This is why many visitors like to visit this area. Millions of people go and visit the area.

 Pu’uhonua Honaunau National Historic Site is another national park in Hawaii, located on the west coast of Hawaii Island. There live some powerful generation of Hawaiians who preserve their culture. The old Hawaiian island’s culture and history define this place. This is also a popular tourist place in Hawaii. There are royal grounds on Kealakekua Bay. This place is located at Honaunau Bay in south Kona and is maintained by Hawaii nationals.

This place comprises a 180-acre area. This park was famous for its culture and territorial culture. The ancient culture of this park was fully built around the theme of Hawaiian ancient culture and history. The Hawaiian national also maintained this place.

5. National Parks in Hawaii: Pearl Harbor National Memorial

This National service park is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It marks the resting place for the sailors and marines killed in the use of Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor during World War II. There also is a museum known as the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. The Pearl Harbor National Memorial was established on May 30, 1962. Millions of people visit this area and the museum annually.

This place is accessible by boat, straddling the sunken hall of the battleship without touching it. There are so many historical sites and also so much historical information about the attack and Suttle boat and the memorial.
