Elon Musk announced Linda Yaccarino as Twitter’s new CEO on Friday, May 12. Previously on May 11, he tweeted that the new CEO have been hired and would be starting work in 6 weeks.
Elon Musk said that Linda Yaccarino will pivot primarily on business operations and Musk will step down as CEO and focus on product design and new technology. However, Elon Musk has not entirely handover the power to Linda Yaccarino.

@LindaYaccwill concentrate primarily on business operations, while I will focus on product design & new technology.
Awaiting to work with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app.”
Elon Musk said he is excited to work with Yaccarino to transform this platform into X, the Everything app. He is also willing to form a space where all can ask questions or anything as soon as Linda Yaccarino is ready to go on.

Linda Yaccarino is an American media executive and former NBC Universal’s chief of global advertising and partnerships businesses and she grew up in an Italian- American family.
Also, Linda Yaccarino graduated from Penn State University. After graduating she joined Turner Broadcasting System Incorporated from 1996 to 2011 for 15 years.
In Turner Broadcasting she handled the roles like Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. She joined NBC Universal in 2011. She performs as the chairman of the World Economic Form’s Taskforce on the future of work.
Moreover, Linda Yaccarino signed on the Ad Council in 2014, and in 2018, Former President Donald Trump assigned her to President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.
Certainly, Linda Yaccarino has been well-known for her work with big brands in the media field. She has achieved a lot in the media field and created connections with the likes of Apple, YouTube, and Snapchat. She is one of the good examples for all women achieving in this field.
However, Linda Yaccarino announced that she was leaving her role as Chief of global advertising and partnership at NBC Universal.
Presently, she has been placed in office as the CEO of Twitter on May 12 by Elon Musk.

Elon Musk stepped down as CEO of Twitter and appoints new CEO for the Twitter/X corps. Because he bought Twitter at a high fall and after the purchase of Twitter, the profit level dropped down and shares values went down.
Moreover, Elon Musk was under pressure from board directors and managing Twitter. So he needs to find someone else suitable as CEO of Twitter.
Few months before he announced that he will step down as CEO and hire someone else as CEO. On May 11, he announced that he hired someone as CEO without mentioning the name of the person.
However, on May 12, he announced who is the CEO of Twitter/X Corps and Yaccarino retweeted she has inspired by his vision to create a brighter future.
