1. Howelsen Ice Arena-

The Howelsen Ice Arena is open for ice bumper car rides, ice hockey, and ice skating from July to May. The ice bumper car rides are for 15 to 20 minutes and cost $11 each time.

If you want to play ice hockey, it will cost you something around $9 for a single person depending on the age. Ice skating will cost you $8 for an adult and $7 for children between 7 and 17.

2. Steamboat Ski Resort-

Steamboat Ski Resort is known as one of America’s top ski resorts for families. The “Champagne Powder” resort or the dry snow resort is one of the most beautiful strawberry hot springs, spreads across 165 trails and approximately 3000 skiable acres.

During the summer months, mountain bikers are welcomed in the Steamboat Bike Park. Travelers or Visitors can also opt for kayaking, fishing, and paddleboarding. The days of skiing in the Steamboat Ski Resort start from November runs through April.

The Medicine Bow-Routt Forest is connected to the city of Walden, Colorado. This is also known as Buffalo Pass or Buffs Pass, whatever you like.

The Buffs pass has many basic campsites, snowshoeing, and skiing trails. The Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests is open for visitors 24 hours free of cost, though some facilities may not be free.

Parking may cost you $5. You need to purchase a license on the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website if you wish to hunt or fish.

6. Strawberry Park Hot Springs-

Steamboat Springs is famously known for its amazing and soothing hot springs. Some of the best hot springs of the city are found at Strawberry Hot Springs. Strawberry Park features 104-degree mineral water pools.

The on-site parking is available free of cost. Local Companies like The Hot Springs Shuttles provide shuttle service. $45 will be charged per adult, and the children between 13 and 17 will be charged $30.

The kids below the age of 12 or 12 will be charged $15 or maybe $20. If you want to go hiking or biking, you can go from Elk River Road and Mad Creek Trailhead. The pools are open every day.

The time on the days between Sunday to Thursday is from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, You may extend the hours. When the clothing is optional at night, children are not admitted to the pools.
