- Add the water. Cardamom and clove may be added along with water at this stage as well. Boil the whole thing at a low flame for 15-20 minutes until the dal becomes soft.

This cauliflower rice is ideal for those who love Chinese cuisine. You would not feel any difference between this recipe and the one made with normal rice.

The ingredients you need for this cauliflower fried rice are:
- Vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Salt
- 5-6 chopped scallions, light and green parts separated
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger, from a 1-inch knob
- One 2 lb head cauliflower or pre-made cauliflower rice

For this recipe, the ingredients you need are:
Cauliflower Rice
- 1 medium riced cauliflower
- 1 Tbsp olive or grapeseed oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
- 1 cup diced red, white, yellow, or green onion

Peppers
- 4 large red, yellow, or orange bell peppers (halved, seeds removed)
