Crystal Cove Beach Cottages are popular vacation homes, and every visitor is interested in renting them.

You have seen the photos, skimmed the guidebooks, and gone through many reviews. But it seems like you are still confused about what to do.

Well, worry no more. With this guide and facts about the amazing Crystal Cove Beach Cottages, your dream destination home is only a few steps away.

1. Crystal Cove Beach Cottages – Things that You Need to Know

Before your venture into the land of Crystal Cove Beach, there are some things that you need to know.

1.1) Location of Crystal Cove Beach Cottages

Crystal Cove Beach Cottages are found in a twelve-acre coastal region along Los Trancos Creek, facing the gorgeous Crystal Cove. There are over forty-five vintage yet simple cottages, many of which can be booked or rented for overnight stays.

For overnight cottage rentals, visiting Crystal Cove Beach’s official website is best.

1.2) Cottages by The Beach

Many of the Crystal Cove beach cottages are also right on the beach. Those are the most popular ones for a fabulous beach experience.

The restored beachfront cottage is quite popular as well.

1.3) Historic Importance

The Crystal Cove beach cottages are the last surviving instances of early twentieth-century Southern California seaside growth and construction development.

Crystal Cove Conservancy has now finished some phases of restoration in the Historic District.

1.4) Highlights

Some highlights of the Crystal Cove beach cottages include studios, bedrooms, and dormitories.

California State Parks oversees the historic district and makes the Crystal Cove beach cottages available with guest services and academic and community projects with a restaurant.

You will also find a charming gift shop in the historic district where you can buy something or take souvenirs for your loved ones back home.

A shuttle bus benefit will also give you a ride from the parking place to your room.

The romantic getaway to Orange County is also something you should not miss.

1.5) the Beaches of Crystal Cove

There are four main beaches or parts of Crystal Cove.

i) The Historic District

The Crystal Cove Historic District is a portion of the Crystal Cove State Park nestled around the mouth of Los Trancos Creek and can be found at Newport Beach in California.

The blue-green buildings on the beach of Crystal Cove served as a shop and soda fountain during the 1950s.

The place now provides cottages for rentals and overnight lodging.

The Historic District is also a great swimming spot with easy access to food and renting umbrellas and beach chairs.

ii) Moro Beach

Moro Beach is located between Laguna Beach and Corona Del Mar on the southern coast in Crystal Cove State Park.

This beach is possibly the most famous one in Crystal Cove and is with the nearest parking area. Moro Beach is ideal for swimming or just hanging out on the beach.

iii) Reef Point

Another of the Crystal Cove Beaches, Reef Point, has Moro Beach in the south and the Historic District in the north.

Diving and exploring tide pools are popular activities here.

iv) Pelican Point

The Crystal Cove Beach cottages of the Pelican Point begin at Newport Coast Drive and break off at the Crystal Cove State Park.

With a comparatively peaceful atmosphere, this place is a great spot for diving, surfing, or exploring the tide pools.

1.6) Fame Through Laguna Beach Eco Heroes

Crystal Cove Alliance was spotlighted in Laguna Beach Eco Heroes and other associations. The organization’s endeavors, accomplishments, and projects, with special mention of the Laguna Canyon Foundation, Laguna Bluebelt, Pacific Marine Mammal Center, and Zero Trash Laguna, were also shown and given importance in the documentary. It was a documentary by The My Hero Project.

1.7) Renting Your Room

The Crystal Cove cottages are of many kinds – dorm-style and hostel-style dormitories. The place also provides cottages and private rooms, and overnight rentals are available.

1.8) Places to Explore – Moro Canyon & the Coastal Trail

If hiking is not your cup of tea, you can enjoy a day strolling the paved roads above the sea for three miles. This is famously known as the Coastal Trail.

This place offers the perfect opportunity to spend a relaxing day with your friends and family.

The coastal trail is the only area near Crystal Cove beach cottages that allows dogs and you to spend a day with your furry friend.

Moro Canyon offers an enjoyable option for hiking trails near Crystal Cove State Park. This trail is around five miles, bringing you into the frontier, up to the peak height, and rewarding you with an extraordinary and spectacular sea view.

From there, you will also be able to watch over the horizon of Laguna Beach and Crystal Cove. Furthermore, on a bright and cloudless day, you will also glimpse Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, and maybe even Catalina Island.

1.9) Finding Food

After the day with various activities, you will hear your stomach growl for tasty treats. The choices of food places lie in the Historic District.

The Crystal Cove Shake Shack, along the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway, not only has the best shakes but gives you plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a quality menu.

The place is quite affordable and comes with a stunning view.

The other option is The Beachcomber Cafe, which lies directly on the beach. Your meal will be manifold times more delicious when accompanied by an amazing view and the music of the sea waves. This alternative is a little expensive but is worth going out of your budget.

Takeaway

So get ready to explore and stay on the land with sparkling sand and crystal waters.

This holiday, rent your room at the Crystal Cove Beach Cottages and experience an amazing trip with exciting adventures, delicious food, and wonderful sea views.
