US President and Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy reached a budget agreement which will be a two-year budget deal and will help in reducing Federal or congressional deficits. It will also be lifting the country’s debt limit.

It is very important to raise the debt limit for America and moving up the debt limit is the only way to stop the ruinous default of the government.

The Democrat President and the speaker from the Republican party have finally reached a budget agreement.

The Republican party was endorsing noteworthy deductions. And because of this, the two parties could not reach a budget agreement.

It was evident that any budget agreement would ultimately be a concession on political problems between the two parties.

Why Couldn’t Republicans and Democrats Reach a Budget Agreement?

To reach a budget agreement, it was crucial to assemble support from both parties.

This grave financial situation in 2-year America is not the only issue here.

The opposition party is recommending stringent work prerequisites for the public who profit from food subsidies, monetary help, and health care assistance and let’s not forget that these people are in the category of most economically vulnerable people.

However, right now President Biden and Speaker McCarthy both are positive about having an agreement on the Budget.

As this two-year budget agreement would lift the debt limit by the next presidential election in 2024. All the Republican members of the house Have been fueling the issues to the worst.

This shows nothing but unbecoming and disdainful opposition conduct. The USA can meet face-to-face with a historic and first-time default any time soon.

The prediction or that default might occur as early as the 1st of June. If the default happens, then it will turn the American economy into chaos.

The Republicans and Democrats took so much time on the budget agreement but kept on ceasing to function to produce a deal.

Biden Administration on Budget Agreement

The Biden administration was not ready to discuss or negotiate over the matter of debt limit. Democrats believe that the faith and confidence of Americans cannot be used as a force for getting accomplished with ideological preference. President Joe Biden tweeted that;

“Earlier this evening, Speaker McCarthy and I reached a budget agreement in principle.

It is an important step forward that reduces spending while protecting critical programs for working people and growing the economy for everyone. And, the agreement protects my and Congressional Democrats’ key priorities and legislative accomplishments.”

Recently the White House has recommended Freezing 2024 expenditures at the present level and also asked to put a limit on 2025 expenditures.

Recommendations of the White House, the Republican members, and opposing groups claimed that these recommendations are not important.

Not just this, but Republicans are also keen on increasing the defense expenditure. On the other hand, Democrats are suggesting it keeps the expenditure on defense on the same level.

Whereas President Joe Biden dismissed consideration for invoking the 14th Amendment Act. Amid all these debates, disagreements, and issues what steps the Biden administration takes, rest to be seen.
