1. National Parks Near San Diego
This city may have a few national parks located on the Pacific coast, bordering Mexico, and close to the southwestern corner of the United States. However, many National Park Service sites are 300 miles away from San Diego. And you can easily access most national park units with a road trip, which is always a bonus.
Usually, any traveler’s top United States destinations always include San Diego. There is much to see and do – beaches, museums, parks, cafes, brisk morning walks, etc. This city has everything.

Visiting Death Valley is best in the spring months (March-April) and fall months (October-November). Both seasons are pleasant. The wildflowers bloom in spring add to the attraction. As a result, Death Valley’s most popular spots will be crowded.
Those who want to escape the crowds might find winter a good time. Nights can be chilly, but daytime temperatures range from the high 60s to the low 70s. Due to the scorching desert heat, there are better seasons than summer for visitors to visit the area.

Visitors are welcome year-round, so your best time to visit the Island will depend on your activities and the weather. Like,
Spring – see yellow coreopsis flowers in peak bloom, and watch the nesting of Western gulls and other seabirds.
Summer – sail boating, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and swimming are ideal summer activities. Whale watching for blue humpback whales & California sea lions and the pupping of northern fur seals begins this season. And some plants like gum plants, buckwheat, poppies, and verbena bloom even as the vegetation dries out.
Fall – most people also prefer snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and swimming in the fall. Cause 70°F ocean temperature and 100-foot visibility are ordinary in early fall. Elephant seal rookeries begin gathering in the fall.
