You go back in time to 1703 at the Mission San Luis De Apalachee at W Tennessee St, where the Apalachee Indians and Spanish newcomers lived together. This Spanish Franciscan Mission was built in 1656, two miles west of the current Florida Capitol Building. 21. St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail

This 16-mile stretch of converted railways is a good trail for all the bikers and hikers as they hit the trail from the capital city towards the Gulf of Mexico. This trail is a National Recreation Trail and is Florida’s first rail trail.
